I wanted to share pictures of my young Phoenix pair, and as they grow bigger ill keep updating the pictures to show progression. The cockeral is just now growing his tail, and its becoming so pretty!!! The pullet is turning into a pretty baby as well!

Wow! they are going to be outstanding, makes me have a itch to get a pair.
Please do keep us updated with photos and what is going on with them. What color eggs do they lay? Are the tail feathers different colors?

I got my 2nd egg today, small like the first one, when I picked it up the shell broke, it was some what soft. I decided to fry it and it had a nice orange yoke. I should have taken a photo of it cooked. It was really tastey. I still don't know what girl layed it, as I was gone to town. Hope I can find out tomorrow. Does any one else get as excited as I do getting the first eggs?

We just lost our Silver Phoenix Roo, And seeing your pics brought me back when he was a baby.
*sigh*

The girl i got for him just whent broody on her egg and i have a couple in the bator now. I know he got her. now i just wait to see.

But yes keep on your list for some eggs when she starts laying.
We whant to get another male.
