I think #2 and #3 are pullets. #1 looks like my Polish who has been on my back for over a month now. My Polish is also a Silver Laced and I think he is a male because he has a crest similar to yours, pointy. But he is 11 weeks old, but I have pictures from when he was 9 weeks old and looks like a twin of yours. My Polish has no wattles or red face. No crowing. No rooish behavior. But his tail feathers are longer than my others'.

#3 looks kind of tricky. I'm being told that my 'male' Polish is probably a female. Don't know what to believe. My two cents...

Im still fairly new at all of this-I hatched these myself-so I dont know how to sex these guys or what to look for to do it-I do not see any wattles at all on any of them-no redness to the face either-that would be cool if I hade 3 girls! haha-I have a lav silkie that I want to mate to the all black one! oooh can't wait! Hope that one is a girl!

I think they are all pullets. #1 and #2 for sure. #1 does not have any spikes at all! The third one is a bit iffy--the crest is funny looking. It might start growing in spikes, indicating a rooster. But the crest really isn't reliable for sexing Polish early on. They can trick you.

If none of them have any signs of wattles and/or those goofy horns for a v-comb popping up, then I think you probably have all pullets! If one shows any signs of red wattles or comb in the next few weeks then it's a roo for sure. The females don't get red in the face until they are much older. Keep an eye on #3!

I hope so-Ive got lots of males that I would like to try and mate with them from different breeds!

Ok... I am not an experienced chicken person, but here's my ?... Aren't the long feathers on #'s 1 & 3 (I think saddle feathers is what they'd be) indicative of Roo's? I know none of my girls have saddle feathers like #1 & 3... Also, can't tell from the pics, but if the top hat feathers are more pointy it's probably a boy??? My vote is that:

#1 leaning towards roo, but could go either way
#2 pullet
#3 really looks rooish to me...

I'm completely going against the grain on this one though, so I'm most likely wrong!

Here's hoping!

I raise some polish and have been studying them for awhile now. So far i have been correct with the sex of mine. Roo's top will be more spikey the hens top will lay back more. Hope this helps.
