They even put themselves to bed last night- the first night the run was completed. The only thing I had to do was release the pop door string. At least they showed some gratitude after all the hard work we put into the build.

Beautiful job.

One thing, those circular metal "buttons" you put on the wood to tie the hardware wire on, with that much spacings in between on the lower half, it would be a chance for it to be torn out by predators.

Other than that, it looks good!

Spacing with the fender washers is 9-12 inches. You may not be able to some because of the mulch. I used 1.25" exterior screws, 9/16" hole fender washers. Ain't nutin going to squeeze in there. Besides, hardware cloth is very stiff. About 300 washers/screws were used on the run alone.

Entire perimeter has welded wire under the surface to discourage any varmints from digging under.
