chicken first aid kit?

First, I have to say that I like your choice of breeds! I currently have Rhode Island Reds, Delawares, and EE's. I'm also raising some sussex for a neighbor. I really want to try australorps and sussex next year!

I haven't had chickens very long but we've had all types of livestock and pets around here.

So my list for the chickens based on DD's vet employer is:

vet wrap gauze
hydrogen peroxide
rubbing alcohol
Poly-Vi-Sol (without iron)
powdered electrolyte
powdered terramycin
powdered Tylan
Sulmet
fenbendazole (Safe Guard) wormer
Blu-Kote or similar
heat lamp
small feeder and waterer
3 cc needle-free syringe barrels

And probably most importantly, a way to isolate a sick bird. We have kept some of our original coops (from before the chicken shed we now have) and attached wire runs. It can also be used for a bird that needs to be separated from the flock for behavioral reasons, sort of "chicken jail."

I'm sure that's not everything I have but a good start. I keep the meds in the powdered form (vs buying the liquid) since it is easier to store, usually at room temp.
