I cant believe i have so many girls laying at such a young age. I always heard that EE's lay later than the other breeds. Not so here. My first one started laying at 18 weeks and now 3 or 4 more are laying in their 19th week.

Is it wrong to kiss your chickens??

My Silver laced wyandotte laid the little light brown egg on the right. She is the first brown egg layer so far. I was so suprised today to get so many little eggs and so many different shades and colors. I am so amazed !

i kiss mine all the time. for all the lovely eggs, lots of smooches are totally appropriate.

(Buff and i know about smooches, we are lip gloss maniacs. it goes with the territory.)

smooch on.

I do.. but be careful they may kiss you back in the form of a peck... chickens love to peck at red things lol
