There was a post a few months ago about converting a Lil' Tykes playhouse into a coop. (Here's the post: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=168126&p=1 ). Since we have the same playhouse and our kids rarely use it anymore, I decided to give it a try.
Worked like a charm. Screened in the windows, put a latch on the door, and voila! There's a cabinet under the playhouse "sink" that I cut the back out of, which leads to the run. I put latches on the cabinet doors, and we lock it down at night to keep out the preds. Here's the final product:

Total cost: About 100 bucks, with chicken wire to spare. Our 3 new chicks are lovin' it!
