HA - too funny, Michelle - I just PM'd you to see if you saw the poll! I'm a bit surprised at the numbers thus far - I wouldn't think there'd be as many outlaws - kinda neat! (Oh...did I Just reveal something about myself?
Legal to the town, but not allowed by HOA(I think) however we're on heavily wooded lots, fairly far apart, and the neighbors can neither see,nor smell, nor hear the chickens,so no one realises I have them
You're so lucky, Tamidon! But, don't be 100% sure that no one can hear you. We live on just over 10 acres. My hubby was visiting a neighbor 1/2 a mile away and actually heard one of our girls singing the egg-laying song! Admittedly, the wind was blowing from our place to theirs...but still...we were both shocked the sound carried so far! HA! Then again, maybe our birds are loudmouths!
I'm following, in every way, the codes of my city... except well maybe I just didn't pay for the permit ($15 a year), or invite Animal Control over to my house to inspect the living area (I am not friends with them after they tried to take my dog away cuz of an overzealos mother! grrr).
