What would you do if you won the Lottery?

Our state lottery is over 200 Mil right now. With this, it got me thinking about what I would do if I won a large amount of money.

I think it would be neat to see what others would do if they won a lottery. I will start.

If I won the lottery I would:

Find a large plot of land, on a lake, that is completely isolated. It would be completly off "the grid" utilizing both solar and wind as power. I would built a log cabin type house. I would have all the livestock needed to be completly self sufficient.

And oh the coop I would have. I would have to think long and hard, but would design a coop that would be the Ultimate Coop.

I think it's fun to think about stuff like this.

Everyone please share what you would do.
 
I would love to buy a lot of land, and offer to build mine and my husbands families their own houses if they were interested. That way we could have our own family compound. I would make it like a big neighborhood, but plenty of spaces between houses so that we wouldn't get on each others nerves. And of course a big farm, on the water! With a giant indoor swimming pool for those long winters!
 
I would pay off our house and my car and buy a nice speedboat and a truck to pull it with.

I would also take a year off from working and go with DH on the "trip around the world" cruise that costs about $30,000 per ticket.

The rest I would save.
 
Pay off all of the bills...buy the 15 acres beside us...tear down this house and build a slightly bigger one...pay off Dad's house, FIL's truck, build the most amazing chicken coop you have ever seen with heat and a/c and finally....

buy all of you a GFM!

Two hundred million?!?!?

Yikes. That brings to mind a movie scene where the greedy guy is in the tomb and gets buried in gold. Crushed! I would not want 200 million. That said, two million sounds dandy.

Hire a housekeeper to come in and help with this awful mess my dh and kids left before going to school, work, and nannas this morning on my day off...

I would spend the majority of it helping others. Feeding and clothing - sending needed supplies to countries where children are starving to death and have no meds or anything basically.....that would be my very first priority. I always tell my DH when our kids are grown we are moving to Africa to help with the crisis over there...

There was a TV show once where millionaires pretended to be everyday folks and gave people a check for 100 grand - that was an awesome show and would be so wonderful to be able to bring that kind of fortune on someone that really needed it....

I would like to build a big wildlife educational center to educate people on the right ways of dealing with wildlife. I would spend alot of it on preserving land for animals being pushed out of their habitats.


Then I would buy us some land so far away from people on the river somewhere and get lots more horses

I would want to build a professional horse training center and be able to go over the country and help others with their horses.
 
I love thinking about that even though I know it'll never happen. It's fun to dream. I'd buy lots of acreage in the near the mountains in Va. and have a vacation house on the ocean and take road trips to every state in the country. I've only been to a 3rd of the states in our beautiful country and they all have their own unique beauty, so I want to see them all.
 
I think as far as my coop. I would have a BYC contest for the design. I would select the winning design, then build it for myself. After that, I would pay for the winner of the contest to have the same coop built for them.
 
I would keep quiet about it and not tell anyone, so no long lost cousins, etc. would come out of the woodwork!

Then I'd import some Chocolate Orpingtons..........
