What im asking is when are scovies usually full grown?
I have a black female who is smaller than even my buff ( though her wings ar HUGE ) and I was just wondering if she was small for her age? She was born in July, so Im thinking she should have some room to grow - but ya never know. She will be four months old next week.

6 - 8 Months?! WOW! All my non scovies are usually full grown by 4 - 5 months. This is my first scovie.

Everyone here is a full grown mature adult except the Chocolate duck, and two magpie crosses and the Scovie. These four were born in July.

I would say that she is probably not mature yet. They can take quite a while.

We have some drakes set aside for future dinners and they are still not at mature weight. Age approx. 7 mo.

They will continue to add a bit of weight for the next year or so. Drakes will often take two years to bulk up to their heavy weight.

Well at least I dont have a midget Scovie! Ive been worried about his since when I got her the guy said she was three weeks old - I didnt believe it - she was the size of a dayold .. yet her tail feathers where comming in. The stage where you can see the quil and about half an inch of feathering.
