Hi. My daughter purchased a buff silkie chick from a feed store in North Carolina. The chick was suppose to be vacinnated and seemed very healthy. About two weeks after coming home to Florida the chick seem to have a seizure. It lasted maybe 10 minutes where she stubbled and had trouble walking. Since then, for about three weeks, she has been fine. Eating, drinking and growing just fine. I have begun putting them outside in a small pen, seperated from the other chickens. Yesterday, we had a small family emergency and were gone from the house for hours. It rained while we were gone. They had shelter in the run. When we got home no one was wet but they were very stressed. I put them back inside and they were eating and drinking fine. This morning we woke up to significant bloody poop. I am in an urban area and our feed store does not sell anything more than feed. I am looking for any suggestions. My daughter loves this little chick and would hate to have her heart broken.
