My roosters seem to be trying to do something....
Is there any way to tell if the eggs are gonna have babies in them lol?

You can crack them open and look for a bullseye--there is a good thread by speckled hen tht shows pictures of it.

Or you can collect some for a couple days then throw them in the bator!

OMG.....i think i am more confused than ever. I would think by that-that none of mine are fertile.....except chrisf has a couple of my silkies eggs in his incubator and they have live chicks in them at candling. They are due for hatch next weekend

I think i will have to re-examine this situation

Ok one more question, does the freshness matter? i mean when does the little bulls eye show up?

The blastodisc with the blastoderm (fertile) will be there when you crack the egg, fresh or not so fresh...fertile eggs are good for 7 to 14 days...hatchability goes down as the days pass more than a week or two.......
