Me. I live in Geneva Co. but have a Dothan addy. Just 15 min from downtown Dothan. I raise RIR;s Orps of several colors and silkies. There are some others on here from Al. but most are from the northern parts. Maybe they will check in.
 
Hey all you good folks, I'm new here. I live in Northwest part of Alabama, Marion Co. I love my chickens and want to build up the family this spring with some baby chicks. I hate the price of eggs, and the thought of eating store bought, almost turns my stomach. Glad to meet you all.

Shew wee; cleaned out the chicken house today and put up another light over the roost. Now I'm tired and don't want to cook supper. Oh well chicken fajitas tonight, that will be simple. So tell me if I messed up, I put cedar chips on the floor afterwards, it sure smelled better, but it may be hard to scoop up next time i clean it out? Hope all had a good day, I did, nothing like a hard days work to make you rest better at night, and my chickens will also. Talk at you later.
