Help needed: Cure for Tapeworms

Hey chicken lovers and experts,

I have to treat my flock for tapeworms and can not find a commercially available treatment for poultry. Hopefully there is something out there! Please let me know.

sigma,i'm having to do the same with my hens. i found a tapeworm in one the nests and it was disgusting. so i've started my worming program sooner than expected. i treat first with wazine 17 to get rid of the roundworms,then in 2 weeks i'll give them a horse wormer named Quest Plus. it has praziquantel in it which takes care of the tapeworm as well as other worms including roundworms leftover from the wazine treatment. i have to be careful with the dosage though,it's supposed to be exact.therefore i'll give my hens a BB size piece of the paste.i was told to wait one month withdrawal time for egg consumption. zimecterin gold is another horse wormer that's supposed to good against tapeworms. verm-x does not paralyze/kill worms,it is used as a preventative. wormal (brand name) with flubendazole is another tapeworm product.
 
Thanks! I put a call into my vet and I'll let you all know what she recommends when I hear back. Dosing is the tricky part and with tapeworms, the prevention is confinement. My Silkies enjoy having the orchard to roam in and I can't imagine keeping them from eating bugs and insects they enjoy so much.
