I saw a thread a few months back where someone had converted one of those into a coop. It came out really cute and I think there's pictures of it on the small coop page. If not you could probably do a search and find it.

Thats what I did! I found mine free, someone had trashed it, was old looking and I painted it....then it didnt have a door, so I put old box fans grills on it...and on the side I made a little wooden door I could close and open

in the window ledge inside I have a milk crate on that shelf, bolted in...
 
The only thing I would worry about is it you have cold winters, but if you don't then I think it would make an awesome coop
