I started building this coop about 3 weeks ago. I wanted a coop that I didn't have to be a slave to. (lugging water and feed everyday or having to climb inside to clean out.)

Here's a pitcure of the front, I needed it to look like a play house cause the wife was agianst having a coop and it looking like a dump in the back yard.

I'm sorry guys this is my first post.
In my coop I built a self feeding storage bin that I can fill up from out side the coop.

Here's some pitcure of that.

Pretty nice! Much better than anything I could do!

I designed a door that I could open up without having to walk into the chicken run.
I maid a geatine set up with a couple of guides a peice of plywood for the door and some thhn wire that runs to the outside of the coop.
The plastic coating on the wire makes the difference with it operating smoothly and properly.

Here's some pictures of that

I also installed a self watering system with 30 gals of water storage in the coop. I'll post some picture of that too.

Well my birds are on the way I ordered 6 RI's ready layers be here any day. The roost are 2x4's that slip in place. I pulled them out to take pics.

My coop is 4'x6' the legs are 18" tall and from floor to roof rafter about 6' from ground to roof peak is about 8'

I'm new to this but determind to have a set up that I can manage with less effort.

My water storage that I installed is set up for water on demand. I used a 30 gal plastic barrel that someone was tossing in the trash, pvc pipe for water feed, out side spicket for fill and area useage, and a vent.
I installed 4 water nipples that cost $2.00 a peice, when the chickens peck at then water droplets fall out. The people were a bought them said no water mess or spillage from these little gagets.
Here's some pics.
