The planning is now under way for our summer picnic chicken stock this is open to everyone who wants to attend. We currently have 91 members of the southwestern backyard poultry meetup group and we want to have a summer picnic. I want to open this up to BYC because so many of us live on close borders Ind/KY/MI I think the Date is going to be July 24 the place has yet discussed.
 
Nick, this looks way fun. Are you looking for a place near Dayton or more toward Cincinnati. Winton Woods, a Hamilton County Park has a barnyard of farm animals, including chickens, and a lake where they rent canoes and paddle boats. A day pass for one of the county parks is $2 -- a season pass is $5. The reason I mention it is that it's kind of centrally located and fairly near I-275.

I'm hoping it will be fun There is a nice park at Germantown Dam that we use for out outdoor meeting then if folks want to bring their chickens they can I will call today and get the shelter. We can bring bring a few other tables as well. I wanted to have it closer to dayton so some byc folks from Indy can come and easy to find.
