Hi everyone from somewhere in Mediterranean sea which i would not like to disclose for paranoid reasons.

I am a little younger than 30, if that matters

I bought 2 chickens and 1 young cockerel yesterday. I never had chickens before, neither i had a coop when i bought them. I only had a dog transport cage that i borrowed. I made a temporary "cage" of heavy 10cm x 5cm at a fenced corner of my (new) yard and i was running after them along time in my yard feeling like happy and angry idiot

All i know about chickens is from the internet, and from yesterday.

I am at work atm and it is 4:50at night, i usually finish 5:30 to 7:00 in the morning, i do nothing really. Small hotel nightshift

I dont represent my nickname as a person, yet. But i want to start raising and eating them and their eggs and i am totally into it and i can buy more if i can manage them

That was my random introduction, i dont know if i should post my chickens photos in this intro, as an intro. I will have photos tomorrow, but should i post them here.

Welcome! I'm happy you found us. There's a lot of wonderful knowledgeable people here to help you in your adventures. You'll be amazed at how much information there is here. By all means, take advantage of the search feature that's towards the upper right of the screen. I've learned soooooo much using that! I discovered there was so much to learn that I didn't even know to ask. There's fun and tasty topics also. (I love all of the recipes!)
