1. This one is all buff colored with buff colored wings coming in and singled combed.
2. This one is tan with brown and single combed.
3. This one has VERY white down, not yellow down ( it is hard to tell in the picture) and is single combed.

4. This one is definitely different from the other two. Single combed.
5. This one is so much smaller that #6 that I think they could be different breeds, even though they look similar, but they are both single combed.

These are from Ideal.

Well that makes it difficult, Ideal has a large assortment of bantams. But they all are clean legged and single combed so that helps to narrow it down a bit.

The possibilities in SCCL bantam chicks offered by Ideal are Japanese, Modern and Old English Games, and Dutch. Then of course there are the BR, NHR, BO, RIR, and Nankins...all bantams there too.

What colors are the legs of the chicks? I'm thinking most are OEGB, which should have fleshy (pink) legs or slate blue legs depending on variety.

Do any of the 'black' chicks have head spots?

The first 3 all have pink legs. The white one is a really white white.

None have a spot on the head.

The first black one has pink feet and slate legs. The wing feathers are coming in some solid white and some solid black.
The white feathers are on the farthest part of the wing and the black closed to the body.

The 2nd and 3rd black ones have black/slate colored feet and legs with a little bit of pink.
Their wings feathers are all solid black except for the one on the end which has a little bit of white.

Did you ever happen to find out wht your chick is? I was just doing a search for chicken breeds with fluorescent blue at their ears and it brought me right back here where I had just finished posting that same question. I have 3 from Cackle that are black,,,black face, legs, feathers, and that really iridescent blue.I think one may have a bit of white on tne longest wing feathers, but that is it. They are also bantams.
