Hi everybody we had an egg that was going to hatch today but last night it got out from under our broody

and it was out almost all last night and it got down to 40. Is there any hope of it hatching?

I say there is always "hope." Just get it warm again and give it a chance. You'll know in another day or so. Good luck!
 
See now! Always hope! :-) YAY! It's amazing to me the "miracles" I've seen and heard about with hatching. Some of these little ones are just fighters! Make sure you have some humidity! And don't touch it anymore! Just let it rest and do it's thing!
