Fading comb and wattles in cochin rooster

Our rooster was fine for 2 years. He is a cochin and had a beautiful red comb and wattles. They are now almost yellow. He eats and drinks but acts depressed. We gave him terrymycin in his water but I am really worried. He is a sweet bird and we would feel terrible if he died.
 
There are many things that can cause this kind of thing. You really need to look for other symptoms to be sure. A couple of the most common reasons for a pale comb or head is Coccidiosis, or severe worm or mite infestation.
