I have six d'uccle chicks that are 3 weeks old. I know that is a little early to sex them, but I am feeling impatient so I thought I'd give it a try. Hoping some of you will have some input/guesses for me. There are 3 mille fleur and 3 porcelain d'uccle chicks. I tried to get good pics of their combs. So far only one of them has a comb that is turning very pink. Thanks for any help you can give me.

#1 This one I am sure is a little roo! Such a big red comb on this little guy!

Thanks again for any input/help/guesses! Let me know what you think!

honestly the only boy looking one is #1, the rest look like pullets!!! They are 3 weeks old, give them another week and take another set of pictures, by 4 weeks, you should definately be able to tell on d'uccles.

Thanks. I will post them again in a week. I was thinking/hoping the same thing about only one roo, but that just seems to lucky to be ture!

Thanks for the input.

Actually I have been suspicious of #2 as well. I will keep my eye on that one for sure. I will certainly not say 100% on any of them until they are a few weeks older as chicks do develop at different rates. Just thought I'd give it a shot early. Just an excuse to show off my chicks!
