Got the call at 4:32 this morning, lots of healthy peeping in the box all are now sleeping.


Order was for:
Khaki Campbell
Buff
White layers
Black runner
Welsh harlequin
African geese

We got our Metzer order in last Wednesday, 6 Khaki Campbells, 3 Black Runners, & 2 Africans. Can't believe how much they've all grown in just a week.
 
They are very healthy, eating and drinking like champs.

We have one duckling with no leg band, and two drakes when there should be only one. Waiting to call Metzers.

Order was for:
Khaki Campbell. Yep received brown leg band
Buff. Need help IDing these and the WH apart, sexed leg bands but no breed ID
White layers. Yep received, orange leg bands
Black runner. Only received 1 female white leg band, no male
Welsh harlequin. Need help IDing these and the buffs apart, sexed leg bands but no breed ID
African geese. Yep two large girls in the brooder

My Welshies were sexed females and had brown bands. Don't forget to get those bands off before they get tight! Instructions on the back of your invoice from Metzer.
 
My friend and I also ordered form Metzer and had a bit of trouble (at first) figuring out who was who....having so many different breeds with the same leg bands makes is tough.

but what we noticed was that the WH were a tad bit smaller and had eye markings:

The one in the way back is a WH (the one in front is kinda blurry but it is also a WH):

The one tilting her head(the one on the right) is NOT a WH, but the 2 right behind her are:

Separate the ones in question and take a bunch of pics and send a clear one to Metzer's and I'm sure they can, or will at least try, to identify them. And/or post them here
