•ADDED: Once you complete an assignment, you will get a dot by your name above. This will help me keep track of who handed their assignments in. Now, if you do not complete an assignment, you will get a wavy line beside your name. If you have those beside your name, you better get the assignment done. If you do not hand your assignments in by the deadline, and you don't have a legit reason, the Principal will be getting a notice.

•THIRD ASSIGNMENT!! Posted 7/28/11

For your third assignment, I will give step-by-step instructions on how to shade a flower in color. This is basic color shading, later on, you will get into three-tone shading. We will practice blending your colors and choosing colors that blend well. Please follow the instructions, and try some that way, but you're more than welcome to put your own twist on it. The only thing I ask is that you use similar shading colors and blend well. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Again, this assignment does not include writing. I will grade as you post. Please, do the assignment on time. I still have some peeps who didnt do the 2nd one and I even gave an extra week.

•SECOND ASSIGNMENT!! Posted 7/13/11

For our second assignment, I will be teaching you how to shade a petal. Alot of ou tried to shade your first assignment and did a fabulous job, but I'd like everyone to try this. I drew a step-by-step example of how to shade a petal. I'd like you to follow it when shading, although you do not need to post your steps. Please, just do the assignment at the bottom of the lesson.

This assignment will not include any writing. All you need to do is draw and shade three different petals and then draw a complete shaded flower. I will grade as you post. Please, have this assignment done in a week.

•FIRST ASSIGNMENT!! Posted 7/5/11

For your first assignment, I will be asking you to draw a flower, of any kind, so I can determine your skill level. Also, you will need to use bubble lettering to write the word "Flower" on the paper. This will help me determine what pace we will work at and what lessons I will need to cover more thouroughly. You can try shading your flower or you can leave it plain. I promise, the lessons after this will be more in-depth. This one is meant only to see your skills.

Would this be considered "Bubble lettering?" It's not really... bubblish.

ETA: I am sorry for the poor quality. I do not have a scanner and the picture did not turn out very good...

Thats great! It is considered bubble lettering. Its not required to have a scanner here. I can see it perfectly fine.
