His a Flashy Brindle and we got him for 700 bucks but he is worth EVERY penny! He is under a year old and he is such a good dog! He is jumpy but he's still a puppy so were trying to get him used to the chicks by setting chicks on him every day. We plan on having him on a leash when we first let the chickens start to roam. I HOPE to have a good chicken dog! There is NO way were getting rid of either so I will try EVERYTHING I know to keep them living in peace! Oh and his name is Maxamillion (Max for short) when he wanders to far I yell his full name

I grew up with a Boxer -- Heathcliff. He was the best dog ever. My parents would throw cigarette butts in the yard and he'd paw them out...I want to tell 500 Heathcliff stories but I guess that's another forum.

I hope Max is the best chicken dog you've ever known!
