I want to add white egg layers to my chicken coop, which is best to add to my New Hampshire Reds? Also what kinda of Rooster would be best for both breeds?

White Leghorns are good white egg layers
They have been known for many a year to be the best....I second that opinion, White Leghorns it is.

I have 9 hens in my little flock, and my 2 white leghorns are definitely my best layers. They lay every day, and a couple of times have layed 2 a day. They are really sweet too. Mine will come up and jump right in my lap.

Oh wow thanks, ok leghorns it is, now what breed rooster should I use and will it matter 1 breed rooster for both breeds and how will it effect what I get? Sorry for odd questions just new at this.

Use a NH Red rooster and create your own sex links with the white leghorns. All the daughters will be red as chicks and the sons will be yellow. That way no gender guessing!
