I have not had much time to work on the coop. I have however finished the pop hole. I plan on adding a pulley system to raise the door from outside the pen.
That looks great! Way to go!
Looks nice, but make sure that bottom threshold of the door is open to the bottom. If it is a pocket, it will fill with chips that are kicked out of the coop and the door will not shut all the way.

hey Firefyter-Emt , I had thought the same thing (only snow) might build up & block the bottom of the track thats why I cut the hole smaller than the cover so it doesnt need to shut all the way to cover the hole
Plus it will block any drafts.
love the roofing in the run! Great job!

Hey Gunslinger... nice design. However I see a couple potential problems. You have 2x4s on the ground which will lend to termites getting a belly full of the lumber. The second , what about the pesky predators easily digging under the boards and making a nice chicken snack.
