Update! baby chicks first day out with mother hen..new pics page 5!

Well little T's CHicks started hatching last night so I thought I should know move this thread over to raising baby chicks.

Here are the first few pics on the chicks first morning. Little T went outside for a few minutes to eat so I was able to snap a couple quick pics.

Will the mother Hen feed the babies like wild birds? Regurgitating food for them?

Or will she teach them to eat and drink out of the containers? They were born yesterday and have not eaten yet. Should I be trying to get them to eat today? Or is it ok if they wait until tomorrow?

The mother hen will not feed her chicks like wild birds. But she will teach them how to eat and drink and forage. So, she's got you covered.
