stall dri/dry is it safe?

I was wondering the same thing! Is it just like DE? Thats what I heard...

I called the company that manufactures it and asked them if it was non-toxic. They said yes. To make sure, I asked them this:
If my kid swallowed some of this, does he need to go to the ER?

They laughed and said no, there's nothing in it that would hurt him. It's just clay and DE, and some sort of natural scent stuff. I've been using it on my chickens and they're fine.

Yes it does. I had a horrible problem with flies and maggots in my cornish X coop, and once I got some of the stall-dri the litter stayed dry and fly-free until I butchered yesterday.

I use it all the time in the coop and run. It's wonderful in litterboxes too and if your cats or dogs have an accident on the floor, pour some on and clean it up in a few hours. I can't believe I lived without this stuff for so long!

Just make sure you get the Stall Dry that is nontoxic. Apparently, and I didn't know this till I bought it the last time, there are two types of Stall Dry.
