So I bought 2 Cornish Crosses and they look yellow and like a Cornish Cross chick- they are about 4-5 weeks old but they are started to get reddish feathering on chest and a little on the head and one of them has grn/olive legs like me ee's. The other has grnish/yellow legs also like an ee. They also aren't any bigger than my other ee's..Could they be mixed with ee?or red? Just wondering..if it could be a light colored ee?

Sounds like you got ee's or some mix and not cornish x's you intended for dinner. At 4-5 weeks, they should be at least 3 lbs a piece, losing feathers on their tummies and shoveling food into their beaks as fast as they can. If by 8 weeks they aren't at least 7-8 lbs, you didn't get a cornish x. A pic may help here.

Ok- I will get a pic tomorrow. But they do look like Cornish X chickies but they aren't a lot bigger than my other ones. They are just a month now. Actually I think it is just one of them that is more of the olive/gn legs- the other looks more yellowy.

Oops just realized I should have put this post in the other section..
ANyhow here are some pics that I took this morning.
They aren't 3lbs and they are the same size as most of my other 4week olds.
The first 2 are the same pullet(?) Potpie and the other 3 pics are a different one- Crockpot. May have to rename if they are ee's.
