In testing a theory with incubators this is what I came up with and its a head banger lol

Hov-a-bator with fan, I am getting almost a 80 % hatch rate.
7 out of 10 duck eggs hatched
4 out of 7 goose eggs hatched
15 0ut of 18 quail hatched

LG with no fan
1 out of 5 turkey hatch

LX 6 ( lyons) with fan, (aybe the unit is too old and not functioning properly.)
0 out of 12

What is everyone else seeing for hatch rates?
I know a few of us use differnt types of incubators including Cabinet modles.
whats everyone hatching rate so far?

OK.. Book marked this one too. My brain hurts

Need to actually go do something before the hubby comes back in again and sees me still sitting here, when I just drove him out to go fix the back horse pasture

The planning stages for the Town Harvest Fairs will be kicking into gear soon and Where I do rare breed displays this will be a good placce to post pictures of birds I am going to put out there for people to get interested in.
I am going to need feed back on all aspects of the birds, ie: color stance, well basically like taking them to a show with out doing the hard work lol.
I am going to leave showing birds to Shay she is much better at it than I am.
Plus after showing rabbits for so many years I figured out I find no pleasure in winning. would rather breed it and have someone else take wins. more fun for me if that makes any sense to any one.

ahhh thank you.
makes a lot of sense to me about the showing seeing others take pride in what you breed is the reward.

The Narri needs to moult out the Jake feathers and bring in his adult feathers, he has a good stance but not sure of overall body until the feathers fill in .
Everyone needs to moult out the winter damaged feathers but for such a hard winter they look fantasic I think,

The Pomeranian Geese look 100 times better than they did when I brought them home. they are n ow rehydrated and getting proper fees and water. sooo much healthier. even laying me dinosaur sized eggs.
