lice mites bugs..bug me they are real buggers. treat your foul with the poultry dust or 7 dust what ever you want to call it but......don't forget where your bids live live they are there to and very hard to get rid of! I go to the feed store and buy the strongest stuff they have in an arisol spray and spray my birds each time I handle them ....maybe once every 2 or 3 months. spray the vent , under each wing, base of the tail and the base of the neck. I can't recite the names of the active ingredients but the lable will tell what it kills. If you have a bad out break I like to buy a bottle of something that will kill lice and poultry mites and mix it with water and spray their roosting area heavy. If you have wooden roost poles these bugs are so small they can get in the cracks in the wood and hide until night and come out to feed on our birds so spray the roost pole really good maybe 2 or 3 times in a week until you don't see them on the vent of your birds.
Remember if you handle a bird with mites you have mite now and soap and water will rid yourself of them.
