I didnt notice any curled or crooked toes on my guinea chick when it was hatched. now a couple of days later, I am seeing this on one foot.

any advice?

I have come to BYC forum this morning to find a remedy to the crooked toe/paralysis thing. I just noticed this AM that two of my cornish rocks have curled feet

...I was wondering what worked best for BYCers.....bandaids? Taping them straight with packing tape? Superglue-ing toes straight onto cardboard? Boost in vitamin A/riblflavin? What has worked for you, BYCers? Thanks

I used a small circle of card stock taped to the bottom of a day old chick's feet with sport tape. They fell off after 3 days and her feet were fine then. She looked like a chick with duck feet! Just make sure all the toes are taped into the proper position.

My little guinea has his foot brace on.

I used duct tape on the bottom. Set his toes where they should be.
Placed a piece of paper over the top of the foot and wrapped the duct tape over it.

He is in with americauna chicks that are 2 weeks older than he is, and they started pecking at his foot brace, so I put him back into the incubator for his own protection.

The duct tape worked! I had to replace it several times. The last time was a charm, it stayed on for 2 days.

Toes are now straight.
