Not Again!!!!! Babies are back!!! An update after 7months

I just went out to check my birds. Usually don't do it after dark, but I did.

I have a big run that has a huge dog house in it. I have it in there for the youngsters, so they have an extra place to sleep.

I just put my AM chicks out today and went to check on them.

They're gone! All my silvers, all my blacks, most of my Lavs and some of my blues and every single on of my bantam Wellies!!!!! I have like 9 chicks in there out of 22!

I first noticed my Lav pullet Lavern. I thought she was dead. Her and my silver roo were the oldest in there. Sterling my roo is on the back porch, but Lavern was trapped between the dog house and the wire.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't even know what to do at this point. I just came home with new birds and had put them up, but something said go check the babies..........

I hate living here! None of the big birds are gown and the only eggs out there were from my SPPRs and they're in a different coop, but they took my babies!!!!!!!!1

I'm so sick of this!

Lavern is in the house and starting to walk around better. Someone is gonna get shot!

I'm sorry this keeps happening to you. It sounds like you need a cam and padlocks. I hope you file a report with the police. The person/people doing this needs to be dealt with!

OMG THEY'RE ALL BACK!!!!!!!

My neighbor just got home and he had them in a nesting box. I didn't even notice the box was gone.

He said some man was staggering down the street and went though my fence to the back. He said he was yelling about the chickens and peeing in my yard! Yuck! I guess he opened the coop and they couldn't get the lock on, so they grabbed up the babies and took them next door. The guy was asking why there were filthy chickens in his yard and trying to open all the coops. They said the cops took the guy out of my yard and there was a note on the door since I was gone telling me they had the birds.

I saw the paper on the mat and thought it was some paper my grand daughter dropped. She's always writing something, so I crumpled it up and tossed it in the trash. I pulled it out and yep......we have the birds at our house, but we had to leave be back about 10.

OMG!

They said they have seen this guy walking about 2 blocks over. He was really wasted and thought this was his house. Poor guy. I don't claim this house! hehe

My babies are ok now. They didn't know why Lavern was trapped, but they said the guy was trying to drag the dog house out too and yelling about people sneaking dogs and chickens in his yard.

I need chocolate!
 
So glad they are all fine. Wow what people do. Sounds like he should be locked up til he sobers. Hope he doesn't return. Good luck. Enjoy your chocolate. Make it a DOUBLE piece.
 
Man!

I had my blue AM roo stolen a few weeks ago. One of the girls around here is looking out for it. She said she was at a house down the street and some kids showed up trying to sell a bunch of roo. All Games though, but she said she'll pass the word that I'm missing him.

Then I go out and all my babies are gone..........I could barely breath! I;m so glad that idiot did squish my little Lavern!The neighbor said he just grabbed up what was out and didn't think to check the coop.

I've taken some extra steps to keep them safe, but my gate was messed up when we moved here and after my husband died I just did next to nothing. I had been trying to get the board off this morning and didn't lock it back up. What an idiot!

Now I have another concern. How do I walk out back bare foot after some drunk peed in my yard?
