We had so much fun together as a group last year that we've decided to repeat the event this year. Last year, we met at the Poultry Exhibit when the chickens were on display, and we'll be doing the same thing again this year!
Junior Poultry competition and exhibit will take place July 18-21. Open Poultry competition and exhibit is July 29-31. Because the Junior Poultry judging and showing takes place during the week, it will be easier for most folks who live outside the Sac area to make their travels on the weekends when they're not working.
In that light, we are planning this year's get-together on Sunday, July 31, 2011, at the Fur & Feathers Exhibit at the state fair!
Everybody get your chicken groove on and come to Cal Expo this year for the fur, feathers, and FUN!
We hope lots of you can come! We really enjoyed seeing all the chickens in competition last year and chit-chatting about everything from hatching to processing. Let's try to make this year's event even bigger than before!
