Poly-Vi-Sol with iron

The iron does not flush through the body, which can poison the chicken. Especially if the dose is too high. It's easy to find the vitamins without iron. I buy mine at walmart for $7.00

If I'm not mistaken Iron is ferrous sulfate. There is ferrous sulfate in the ingredients on the Poly without Iron, and it's not on the supplement facts list, on the back of the bottle. Am I to assume one is a lower dosage than the other?

I have the same question. I need to give a chick PolyViSol for wry neck but the Non-Iron version still has ferrous sulfate as a binding agent in the ingredients list. I can't find one that has no ferrous sulfate at all, and when I asked the pharmacist this he just looked at me funny.
