Yes, feathered feet. She is the size of a cochin, just slightly bigger.
She just adopted one of the Black Sex Linked babies I just got yesterday, the other one with splayed legs died today, so in this picture though its hard to see but in between her legs is the little black poof body of the baby chick.
Weird question: is she very soft? Trying to figure out what exactly one of mine is as well (I know he's part silkie, but who knows what else). He has normal feathers, but is the softest thing I have ever felt.
Oh, she's a sweetie. She just adopted my 2 day old baby chick. She is usually the one getting bossed around by the Cochin Mama. She usually tries to stay out of the Cochin Mama's way but in this picture she is on guard cause she had just laid an egg that miraculously turned into a little chick-lol. So she was on guard because my cat was sitting there trying to figure out how the splayed leg chick-(that died)-had turned into this giant bird!!!
Oh, I'm not sure if she is soft, she's smooth...but mine are cooped and don't like for 'humans' to touch them, so I just feed them and gather the eggs so I don't get to come that close.
