Every morning I stop by the garden and get a handful of fresh mixed lettuce and go see the girls. They love it. I hold it in my hands and they just go crazy picking at it. I tried strawberries but they didn't seem to care for them.
It's very hot here in North Florida. It's been fun making them frozen rasperry treats. I've been putting frozen water bottles in their water to keep it cool. My husband installed a fan in their coop and they really like it. They also have a fan under the rv and boat storage shed that they like to lay in front of in the afternoon. They are so appreciative.
