13 Lavender Orpington day old chicks I got from a small-time breeder hatched 9/10/13.
2 Buff Brahmas 5weeks old, 2 brahmas 2weeks old & 4 2week old Buff Orpingtons from a different breeder just starting out....these are hatchery stock and not well cared for so working on getting them in better condition.
You are going to make SUCH a difference in their lives! I cannot WAIT for the after pics and your report of their progress! They look so very tired. That's how my old flock looked too..like they were just so weary of being alive and I almost killed them because of it, as I couldn't bear to see them looking so weak and depressed in their bodies.
Can't wait to see what you do with these birds!
Update I returned these poor birds, come to find out 4 of them were cockerels and the guy I got them from insisted he give me a refund. So I am looking for a new flock of healthier birds
