There are holding cages on the left of my egg-layer coop in case I have a bird that is acting weird or aggressive. I can temporarily hold birds or use the cages for small bantam breeding. The cages are now automatically watered using a 5 gallon bucket and drinking cups.

The inside of my egg-layer coop. The pipe in the back has watering nipples screwed into it and is fed with an extra water heater as water storage. No pilot light is lit! The nest boxes are framed in and built using 5 gallon buckets.
