These are photos of the day in the life of our flock's hatched chicks for their first week. Everyone is growing like weeds and already are testing their little wings and are pushing us into moving them from this brooder into another set up (more to follow later). This week by day three we started introducing things to them to help build their immunitities before they are integrated with with flock. We introduced worms from the compost, a sod plug, a log, straw and we started them on their fermented feed.
