I know this post is really old but we are considering doing the same thing and using a portable garage frame for our next run. Did this wind up working well for you? Anything you noticed that was an inconvenience or annoyance that you disliked about it that we would want to be aware of? Particularly I am debating about the covering and whether there are any drawbacks to the rounded structure vs a rectangular run. Did this do a good job keeping out rain and snow, and did you have any issues with wind?
