thats nice looking. I should have did that with my second group. Instead of losing out on resale of the welded kennels and tractor coop plus all the work and paid for labor to help... But just a suggestion.. You might want to put hardware cloth. part of the way up to keep out tiny birds and weasels etc Plus it would be very beneficial. to let them free range at least 1/2 hour or more before roost time. ( I swear my first group would smile when I let them out)
Cause chickens and humans aren't vegetarians. we re what we eat. I truly believe in my heart. Oh plenty of ventilation in the coop is needed above their heads. I saw a formula on here.... what would be fantastic would be if it could be moved during the day to new ground...They sure will do in that grass and soil it real fast... they did when I used to have them in one re before we fence in 1/2 acre . plus hear all day. and go out to them quite often they also have plenty of trees bushes, shelter fencing to get new when there is overhead danger.
