I would start a new discussion in the emergencies section. This looks like bumble foot, which is basically sores similar to a callous that often starts from a cut to the bottom of the foot, or maybe excess pressure on that area from the roost or some other source.
It's possible that's the cause of the redness and swelling. I would soak his feet in a warm epsom salt water (in a small tub or sink). Do this two or three times a day, and you can coat the callouses with a drawing salve like Prid or just use raw honey, which is a powerful healer. Some people perform surgery by cutting into the callous, while others like me softened the callous over the course of a couple of days and carefully pried it off without having to open it up with a scalpel.
You'll get more suggestions if you start the discussion. I hope he heels soon!

Thank you I started a discussion yesterday explaining the situation I also thought it was a bumble foothe did the whole opening the bottom of his foot but therected was nothing in there.
It would seem he jumped from a high height and maybe hurt or sprained his foot.
Any suggestions?
