She looks just like my Amelia Earheart - she was first to fly, and usually is the first to try out a new perch! My lighter-color PBR was 2nd, earning the name Harriet Quimby, and is her usual roosting partner. They work together decide who gets access to the food area, and don't seem bothered by breezes anymore. I'm excited that they both look like hens...so far - and had the right head spots for early separating. Have fun!
I love those names! So funny you say that about your Amelia Earheart because my Jessica (in the photo) has always been the leading chick in the flock. She was the first to perch, test her wings, find bugs, and the first to venture farther from the flocks comfort level. She's the only one that let's me pet her from the back I wasn't expecting to love her so much but she grew on me.
I thought she would be bigger but has turned out to be the smallest but still leads the flock.
