I have a two Buff Orpingtons as resident broodies, Charlotte and Tallahassee. We also have a wild chicken, named Esmeralda, that keeps laying eggs and hatching them on my farm and then brings them to me up on the patio asking me to please put her and them in the brooder so they can all be warm. Of course, I do and yesterday she brought 9 new little baby chicks not only to the back patio, but walked them right inside my kitchen.
