BUT that is unique a sex link duos egg hatched ???
i have tried incubating two of my sexlinks eggs that are fertile but never want to do anything! The roo was not a sexlink. But it looks like a Delaware or Easter egger or americauna type almost ? How old is it? If its not laying or close to Laying age? (Asking, due to the bright color of comb!)
How long has comb had color to it because roos start getting a bright comb way earlier most of the time. Pullets only get colorful combs typically, when they begin to lay, but there is ALWAYS an exception, of course!
@chickenreyna I’m new to all this chicken stuff so bear with me, lol. The man I got my rooster from said he was a sex link. My rooster Romeo is in my profile pic along with the mother, Crazy. Maybe he’s not a sexlink but a hybrid himself...? The hen is a sexlink. That’s also what I was told. I wouldn’t be as interested in looking into the family tree if not for the fact that this little looks like a Deleware...
We’ve looked at a lot of Deleware pics and it looks like their combs in general are more of a vibrant red regardless of sex compared to other breeds. We’re leaning more towards hen. Ahhhh. She’s 3 months and some change right now.
