I got a rooster that looks just like the picture of your King Buff Orpington. At the risk of sounding stupid I have to tell you something funny. We went to the flea market to purchase some hens and someone sold us a buff Orpington hen. I promise you, it looked just like a hen. Our rooster kept attaching it, and we couldn't figure out why. We thought our rooster was just being mean, until the hen started to crow. He is a giant. I had never seen a chicken so big, which is why we thought he was a full grown hen. Then he started having his way with the hens! What crows like a rooster and breeds like a rooster is a rooster....
He is a beauty though, but he's a little spooky. I'm not used to chickens coming above my knees, constantly looking at my hands. I'm so glad to see this picture of yours. I wouldn't mind having a whole flock of these beauties. He is so friendly.
