8x16 insulated coop, with a ramp and an auto chicken door (Ador). I threw a popped air mattress on top of the ramp to keep it dry, the ramp leads to a covered run. I keep the run open so that they can go outside, they have a 1/2 acre fenced in to free range. There is a coop cam inside, I can check on them via my computer from the house anytime 24/7. It's Finished on the inside, but not finished on the outside. It's a work in progress.
10 nesting boxes with insulating room darkening curtains stapled onto the openings of each box. An upside down V is cut to allow the hens to enter the boxes. Linoleum flooring covered in pine shavings make cleaning easier. The walls are painted light green to brighten it up and make it much lighter inside. Poop boards on one side and poop hammocks on the other side under the roosts catch all the night pooping which keeps the floor clean longer.
I took a still shot inside the hen house with my coop cam, it's dark in there, but the infrared camera can see in the dark. The auto door is still open but will shut any second because it just got dark out. I have used bicycle inner tubes wound around and stapled to the roosts and the ladder for foot comfort.
Wild turkey's in my yard. The one in the tree is picking berries and dropping them down to the ones on the ground.

Front of the coop, this entrance leads into a 3x8 broody hen room where chicks are hatched. We will finish the outside in the spring and also run proper electricity.
