Walburga was a BBS Orpington hen that I purchased as a chick from Tori Yancey at Sterling Meadows Hatchery. She had a wonderful personality. Walburga took home the blue ribbon at the Alaska State Fair, was on the cover of Backyard Poultry, and several photos of her were featured alongside the article I wrote on the history of Orpingtons in that issue. Unfortunately, she ended up as dinner for a fox.
