After one day, they told me these hens had not laid all winter and just a couple pullet eggs in October. I did't get any from them today but they should gear up for it soon. They are very happy to be getting some oyster shells and spend a lot of time at that pan. I found the oil was out today so tomorrow they will have a canola and olive oil mix to have when they like.

This is one of the Henny's I adopted last weekend who had both as chicks been attacked by little dogs through their wire cage. They are missing plenty toes and this one is missing half a foot. They don't know what to do with their new freedom and big house and are quite content to stay around the hen house but they will range over to the barn and new broody house a bit.
